In one easy step, add the taste of savory, roasted garlic to this dish with our garlic-flavored extra virgin olive oil.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 ounces / whole milk ricotta
  • 1 loaf / baguette, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 4 tablespoons / Zucchi Garlic Flavored Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • a few sprigs / fresh basil leaves
  • sprinkle / sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 F degrees.

Drizzle or brush Zucchi Garlic Flavored Extra Virgin Olive Oil over bread slices. Bake in the oven for 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted and golden.

Meanwhile, whip ricotta in a medium bowl with an electric mixer for 3-4 minutes until creamy.

Remove bread from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes.

Top each piece of bread with a tablespoon of ricotta.

Sprinkle with salt and garnish each crostini with a few sprigs of fresh basil on top. Drizzle with Zucchi garlic-flavored extra virgin olive oil.
