INSTRUCTIONS
Place a large, heavy-bottom saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of Zucchi Truffle-Flavored EVOO and 3 popcorn kernels. Cover the pot with a lid and wait for the popcorn kernels to pop. These are your “test’ popcorn kernels and they will tell you when the olive oil is hot enough to add the rest.
Once the test kernels pop, remove the pot from the burner and add the remaining popcorn kernels. Place the lid back on and shimmy the pot back and forth to evenly distribute the oil around the kernels. Place the pot back on the burner over medium heat and wait for the popcorn kernels to pop. You’ll know the popcorn is done once you stop hearing consistent popping.
Once the popcorn is fully popped, turn off the heat, remove the lid, and pour into a large serving bowl. Toss with salt, pepper, more Zucchi Truffle-Flavored EVOO, chopped parsley, and finely grated parmesan. Add more salt and olive oil to taste.
Serve immediately. Truffle popcorn will stay fresh and crunchy for 2-3 hours after popping.
