Robust and intense, this 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil adds a bold kick to this dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups / olives
  • 2 / bay leaves
  • 3 / garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
  • 2 teaspoons / lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons / orange zest
  • 3 tablespoons / lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons / orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon / red pepper flakes
  • to taste / salt
  • 3/4 cup / Zucchi 100% Italiano Extra Virgin Olive Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all the ingredients in a shallow rimmed dish. Mix together to coat all the olives evenly.

Cover and place in the refrigerator and let sit for 1-2 days, stirring occasionally.

Before serving, remove the bay leaves and let olives sit at room temperature for around 30 minutes.

Enjoy marinated olives as an aperitivo or appetizer!
